Our younger campers in first and second grade, will be shooting on lower, age appropriate goals. Camp will help players of all skill levels to enhance individual skills through small group instruction as well as learn the concept of team play in our supervised games. Players will have a chance to compete in individual competitions and view special guest lectures and demonstrations throughout camp. “I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about having an organized, hour-long basketball lesson as a party for 18 three-to-four year old children. However, it truly was the best party ever!
Your energy is infectious. I saw even the most timid of child, smiling ear to ear, while darting across the gym with a parachute. We loved how the basketball drills were really games - my son particularly loved "being a giraffe" and "chopping the chicken". There was never a dull moment - from singing, to ball passing to shooting. The hour long lesson flew bye. Seeing this first hand, made me (and some of the other parents) that much more excited for the weekly lessons that we do.
It is apparent that you are meant to be doing this. I cannot say enough positive things about the party and your abilities as a coach and party host. I will happily recommend C. LaRUe Hoops to anyone looking for a fun, unique, action-packed party.
Thank you for everything." Laura Marsh
“Chan's ability to train and develop youth basketball players is fantastic! The athletes respect him and appreciate
his hands on approach. Chan CAN play ball and that is so important to kids! He can not only teach the mechanical game
of basketball, but his ability to teach the mental game sets him apart." Carrie Lenzen
